Frank Schächner

Frank Schächner is a civil engineer and managing director at schlaich bergermann partner (sbp) specialized in the field of bridges. He has more than 20 years of experience. Before joining sbp in 2010, he gained experience as a project manager in Dubai with KuK Middle East, Dubai, UAE and with BUNG Ingenieure AG in Heidelberg. He has realized many different projects – from small footbridges to long-span road and railway bridges all over the world. Many of them were honoured with some well-known awards, such as the Footbridge TRUMPF, Ditzingen, Germany, the Rotes Steigle road bridge across Highway A8, Stuttgart, Germany and the Bleichinsel Bridge, Heilbronn, Germany.
