Barbara Boesen MacAulay

Barbara MacAulay is Technical Manager at the Bridges section of the Danish Road Directorate. She is a member of the Danish Design Guide Group for Bridges/Structures and is involved in the development of the Danish National Annexes for Eurocodes for Bridges. Barbara is also the Chair of the Danish IABSE Group and is a member of International Cable Supported Bridge Owners Association. With more than 25 years’ experience in bridges, she is currently the Design Manager for Structures on the New Storstrøm Bridge project. This 4km-long sea crossing carries a two-track high-speed railway, a two-lane road and a combined footway/cycle path on one single cross section. The main bridge is a cable-stayed structure with a 100m-high pylon.
